At the Lidejo Companies we prefer to use electronic camera ready art. We prefer electronic art in a vector format using Adobe Illustrator 8.0 or earlier to generate or recreate your logo art. A vector format is important because using a vector format we can size your logo to the size of a small pen to as big as a beach towel by just pointing and clicking a mouse.

At Lidejo Companies we can accept files via email to our Art Department. Please send these files with your order number in the subject line to art@lidejo.com in a PC or MAC format. An .eps file generated from this program is almost always preferred because it is in a vector format. If your art is coming from the above program, we need the following to insure your order is moved to the production floor in a timely manner. All fonts need to be converted to 'outline' before sending the file to us. If the art is a 1-color imprint, please have it laid out in black and white regardless of the imprint color.

If the art is a 2 or 3 color print job, please use spot colors rather than 4 color process aka: CMYK. Any other questions please feel free to call us at (800) 535-4525.

If your art is in a bitmap format using Photoshop or similar program and in one color, please make sure it is in black at a minimum 600 dots per inch (dpi), and laid out to the exact imprint size, since it cannot be resized for production. You can send these files electronically in an .eps file format or .tif format if they are below 5 megs. Many quality bitmap images are larger than 5 megs and will not be accepted through many email servers. You will need to send a disk or send standard camera-ready output to us physically. Scanned in images and images on websites are not camera ready. These JPG and GIF files are low-density images at about 72 to 96 dpi and will not provide a quality reproduction. We can convert your image to a vector format. Art time is $75 per/hour. Most art takes about 45 minutes typically, and we will advise you if we think more time is needed. If you want, we will send you a copy of your file at the conclusion of the order. Otherwise, we will have it on hand for your future orders.

Also, be advised production run time doesn't start until your faxed paper proof or electronic proof has been approved by you and received by Lidejo Companies. This is very important for customers who want rush service on their order. 3-day rush service does not start until Lidejo Companies receives an approved proof.
